Aidan Reed
New Milton North, Milford and Hordle's local champion
About Aidan
Aidan is standing to represent New Milton North, Milford and Hordle on Hampshire County Council.
A Chartered Surveyor with a distinguished career in professional standards and governance, Aidan would bring high-level strategic experience to the role. His background includes serving as a Foundation College Governor and a Trustee for housing and dementia charities, giving him a deep understanding of the vital services our communities rely on.
Aidan is committed to delivering results on three key issues: improving local education standards, tackling the pothole plague with professional oversight, and addressing residential speeding to keep our streets safe.
What is Aidan fighting for?
Giving every child a chance
Aidan believes every child deserves a world-class education. He will fight for better SEN provision in local schools.
Safer Roads
Aidan is campaigning to reduce speeding on residential roads.
Protect our waterways
It is a disgrace that raw sewage is polluting the Dane Stream. Aidan is working with Lib Dem colleagues to clean up our rivers.
Who can win in New Milton North, Milford and Hordle?
It's Lib Dem or Conservative here
The election of a new County Councillor for New Milton North, Milford and Hordle will be a two-horse race between local Lib Dem Aidan Reed and the Conservatives.
At the last local elections in 2023, the Lib Dems came 2nd across New Milton - winning town council seats in Ashley South and Ballard. With your support, we can do the same at Hampshire.
Labour, Reform, and the Greens have never won here. A vote for them just helps the Conservatives.
