New Forest District Council are planning to scrap business waste collections from next year.

They have launched a consultation, apparently asking people for their views, but have already stopped taking on new clients. The message is clear: the decision has been made.

Local businesses are being hammered at the moment - from business rates and energy prices to parking charges - and this is another blow to those businesses who don't have the income to switch to a private provider.

Your local Lib Dem team believe that scrapping business waste collections will lead to more fly-tipping in the New Forest and make life harder for local small businesses.
