Jack Davies is the Liberal Democrat candidate for the County Council Division of Lymington and Boldre. This division includes all settlements within both the Lymington and Pennington Town Council area and the Boldre Parish Council area.
A lifelong local, Jack lives in Pennington, works in Lymington, and his family came originally from Pilley over 40 years ago. Recently standing for the constituency of New Forest West in the 2019 General Election, Jack is a serving District and Town Councillor.
"In 2017, the people of Lymington and Boldre elected a Conservative. They promised to listen to local people but, since being elected, the priorities and concerns of local people have been ignored. They promised to fix the roads. Instead, the roads are worse than ever - especially in Boldre Parish. They promised to provide excellent services. Instead, they cut Lymington Library's opening hours yet again. They promised to effectively represent us. Instead, they voted to pave the way for parking charges on Lymington High Street which they now claim to oppose.
"We need somebody new, with the energy to work hard for local people all year round, and who is on the side of the people (not the out-of-touch Conservatives in their plush offices in Winchester). That's why I'm standing to be your next County Councillor. I will speak up for you on the issues you care about - jobs, the environment, care for the elderly - and make your priorities my priorities."
