Born 1950, I’ve lived in Hythe and Dibden for over 40 years.
I’m married with 4 grown-up children who all attended local schools.
I was a parish councillor for 12 years 1987-1999 and was part of the Lib Dem team that bought the Grove to house the parish offices and the CAB, replacing portacabins around New Road car park.
I was also involved in setting up a women’s refuge.
I then trained and worked as a registered mental health nurse at Woodhaven, Calmore, after working for MIND with people with dementia.
I lead a small group of mostly older people meeting for weekly fellowship at Lighthouse Community Church, Hardley.
Interests: wildlife, photography, and walking, and occasionally showing, a Lancashire Heeler (the smallest of the pastoral/herding dogs)
