Associated British Ports (ABP) want to build a Container Port on Dibden Bay, as part of the Solent Freeport.
ABP's plans were endorsed by Conservative Councillors on New Forest District Council who voted to allow Dibden Bay to be included in the Freeport.
Dibden Bay isn't just any old green space. It is a biological site of special scientific interest with a nationally important collection of invertebrates - including 21 species which are nationally rare. Dibden Bay is also home to nesting lapwings and other bird species, such as wigeon, teal, pintail, and mallard.
It is vital that Dibden Bay remains a haven for wildlife. Join our campaign to Save Dibden Bay!
