News: Scrapped Grant to Nightstop

Thursday, April 11, 2019

The Conservatives on New Forest District Council scrapped the grant to Nightstop, the homelessness charity in the New Forest, which caused the charity to close down.

Liberal Democrat councillors opposed the decision because it will actively make the situation worse.

We should be helping people climb the ladder, not kicking it away.

On May 2nd, use your votes across the Forest to elect hardworking Lib Dem community campaigners who will challenge the council’s poor record on housing and push for better services for those unfortunate enough to find themselves homeless in the New Forest.
